A joke with a stretching routine.
fluxer.host exists to give Fluxer projects a place to run. flexer.host exists because a lot of those same people will sit through a six-hour voice call, a docker migration, and a raid, then wonder why they cannot touch their knees.
What Fluxer is
Fluxer is a free and open-source instant messaging and VoIP platform, created by Hampus Kraft and developed by Fluxer Platform AB. It launched in January 2026 as a community-funded alternative to Discord: text, voice, video, screen sharing, roles, bots, custom CSS, and self-hosting, licensed AGPLv3. It does not sell your data or feed it to generative AI. Optional Plutonium is the paid extras tier on the official instance. Federation is on the roadmap. Hundreds of thousands of people showed up, especially after Discord's age-verification changes.
That is the real product. This site is not it.
What Flexer is
Flexer is an independent static website. It is not affiliated with the company Fluxer Platform AB. It is not FluxerHost, the community Kubernetes project. We do not host bots, bridges, or instances. We do not want your token. We do not run analytics. The only thing stored in your browser is whether you clicked “I'm standing.”
The tone is fun because chatting for six hours is fun. The advice is earnest because hips do not care that the software is AGPL.
Not medical advice
Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for a clinician who can see you. Strength and mobility suggestions are general. If you have pain, an injury, a condition, or you are starting from a long pause, get personal advice. Stop if something is sharp or wrong.
Marks and manners
Fluxer, Plutonium, Visionary, Operator Pass, and the Fluxer wave symbol belong to their owners. Flexer's mark is an extra-wide F, on purpose, so it is not their double wave. We link to them because we like the app. Liking the app is not the same as speaking for it.
Fonts
Anybody by Tyler Finck / Etcetera Type Co, Fraunces, and IBM Plex Mono, all under the SIL Open Font License. The stretchy wordmark is the point of Anybody's width axis.
Do I need a gym?
No. Canary is a backpack, a floor, and a desk for incline push-ups.
Is this affiliated with fluxer.host?
No. They are a community hosting initiative. We are a stretching website with a similar domain and a worse cluster (your skeleton).
Can I add a #flexer channel?
Please. Be kind. No form-checking strangers like a raid boss. Share what you did, not how everyone else is failing.
Why no account?
Because you already have a Fluxer account, and because a fitness site that harvests emails would be a bit on-the-nose.
